In 2010, Tudor initiated a transformative strategy, marking the inception of their Heritage collection, drawing inspiration from their rich historical archives. The inaugural release was the Heritage Chronograph, a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic Home Plate watch. The following year, in 2011, witnessed the introduction of the Heritage Advisor. However, the turning point arrived in 2012 with the launch of the Black Bay.
The Black Bay family now boasts a diverse array of timepieces, all characterized by the distinctive and rugged Oyster-esque case and iconic snowflake hands. Whether in striking Red, classic Black, captivating Blue, the elegant 58, versatile Chrono, resplendent Steel and Gold, robust Bronze, practical GMT, or others, they all share the common DNA that has propelled the Black Bay series to its status as one of the most sought-after watch collections in the market.
The addition of New Zealand's national rugby team to Tudor's brand ambassadors led to the creation of the Black Bay Dark in 2016. This model, featuring the in-house calibre MT5602, is a fully black PVD-coated dive watch with distinctive red depth rating accents, a red triangle bezel insert, and the iconic snowflake hands, solidifying its appeal as a unique and desirable timepiece.
