In a delightful prelude to Watches & Wonders 2024, Tudor has unveiled the Black Bay Chrono “Pink.” Breaking away from their usual utilitarian design, this chronograph is inspired by a model created for Jay Chou, the famed Taiwanese musician. While it is not a limited edition, Tudor emphasizes that the production will be very limited. The Black Bay Chrono “Pink” stands out with its vibrant pink dial, a significant departure from the brand’s typically serious aesthetic. The dial features a matte finish with subtle graining, complemented by black registers, white lume, and a red depth rating. The 41mm case and 14.4mm height give the watch a robust presence, accented by a black anodized aluminum bezel insert. Powering the watch is the high-spec Breitling-derived MT5813 movement, offering a 70-hour power reserve and sophisticated features such as a vertical clutch, column wheel, free-sprung balance, and silicon hairspring. The "5-link" bracelet, inspired by the Jubilee design, adds a unique touch to this compelling timepiece.
