Armin Strom One Week Watch

Armin Strom is reintroducing its iconic One Week timepiece with a fresh design and purpose, aiming to establish it as a cornerstone in their collection. The original One Week, introduced in 2010, was known for its in-house movement, seven-day power reserve, and symmetrical design ethos, setting the stage for subsequent Armin Strom creations like the One Week Air and One Week Skeleton.

The new Armin Strom One Week First Edition, introduced by Serge Michel, a partner since 2009, emphasizes versatility, complexity, and brand identity. This timepiece features a contemporary stainless steel case, 41mm in diameter and 10.6mm thick, offering water resistance up to 100 meters. The sapphire crystal on both the dial and caseback showcases the distinctive dial and movement design.

A notable change is the placement of the hour and minute hands, now centrally located on the dial and adorned with Super-LumiNova. At 9 o'clock, a small seconds black dial with the Armin Strom insignia complements the design, while a chapter ring with Super-LumiNova-filled baton indices ensures precise timekeeping.

Powering the watch is the manual-winding ARM21 calibre, boasting a seven-day power reserve and vibrating at 25,200 vibrations per hour. Two visible mainspring barrels on the dial side provide consistent energy to the gear train. An unconventional power reserve indicator at 11 o'clock features a cone mechanism driven by a conical gear with a mirror-polished finish.
