Introducing Moritz Grossmann Tefnut Silver-Plated by Friction
Moritz Grossmann introduces the Tefnut Silver-Plated by Friction, a new model available in rose gold and steel that is set to become a staple in the Tefnut collection. The Tefnut Silver-Plated shares a visual resemblance with the 2021 Hamatic Vintage Silver-Plated. Its captivating dial is meticulously crafted using a traditional 19th-century technique. Contrasting Arabic numerals, minute/second tracks, and the iconic M. Grossmann logo are engraved and set in black lacquer, creating a striking contrast against the silver-plated dial. The manually crafted steel hands, annealed to a unique brown-violet hue over a flame, indicate hours, minutes, and the running seconds on the recessed dial at 6 o'clock.
With a 39mm three-part case, a slender 8.5mm height, and sleek lugs, the timepiece exudes elegance and comfort. The crown features decorative grooves, adding a touch of refinement. The hand-wound calibre 12.01, visible through the transparent caseback, offers 48 hours of power reserve and showcases Grossmann's distinctive craftsmanship. The rose gold Tefnut Silver-Plated by Friction model is paired with a brown alligator leather strap, while the stainless steel version comes with a black alligator leather strap. Both straps are secured with a prong buckle that matches the case material.
