Oris Aquis Dat Watt Limited Edition
Oris introduces the Aquis Dat Watt Limited Edition II, a follow-up to the original model, drawing inspiration from the vibrant green hues of the Wadden Sea's salt marshes. This timepiece signifies Oris' dedication to conservation and sustainability through its partnership with the CWSS (Common Wadden Sea Secretariat).
The Wadden Sea, spanning Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands, houses diverse flora and fauna in its 11,500-square-kilometer expanse. Despite its natural significance, it faces threats from human activities, necessitating the CWSS's efforts in habitat preservation and education.
The Dat Watt Limited Edition II features a shimmering green dial resembling the salt marshes. With a 43.5mm stainless-steel case, it boasts a 30-bar water resistance, a grey tungsten uni-directional rotating bezel, and luminescent hands and indices. The watch houses the Oris 743 automatic movement, offering a 38-hour power reserve.
The watch also reflects Oris' commitment to sustainability. Its stainless-steel bracelet and blue rubber strap accommodate wearing over wetsuits, and the vanilla-scented rubber strap adds a playful touch. The packaging is custom-designed for this limited edition.
Beyond its aesthetics, the timepiece embodies an eco-conscious mission. Oris' active involvement in conservation, exemplified by volunteers participating in projects like the Billion Oyster Project, underscores their dedication to making a positive impact.
