TAG Heuer Introduce New Monaco Racing Blue, Limited Edition
TAG Heuer celebrates the enduring legacy of the iconic Monaco chronograph with the introduction of the new Monaco Racing Blue Calibre 11. Harkening back to its revolutionary beginnings in 1969, this edition pays tribute to the classic design while infusing it with modern allure. The watch features a 39mm x 39mm grade 2 titanium case with bevelled edges and a sandblasted finish, complemented by a titanium crown positioned at 9 o'clock and pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock.
The silver sunray-brushed square dial showcases two blue opaline square subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock, along with a date window at 6 o'clock, all within a round minute track. Rhodium-plated hour and minute hands with Super-LumiNova stripes and a lime yellow lacquered chronograph seconds hand add to the watch's contemporary aesthetic. The rhodium-plated applied hour markers maintain the design essence of the original Monaco, while luminous dots on the minute ring glow blue in the dark.
Powered by the automatic Calibre 11, based on the Sellita SW300-1 movement with a Dubois-Depraz chronograph module, the watch boasts a 40-hour power reserve and allows the crown and pushers to be placed on opposite sides of the case.
