Omega New Models - Omega Seamaster Diver 300m & Seamaster 300 75th Anniversary Edition
Omega celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Seamaster watch by introducing two highly anticipated commemorative models - the Seamaster Diver 300m and its retro counterpart, the Seamaster 300.
Omega Seamaster Diver 300m 75th Anniversary Edition (Ref. 210.32.42.20.03.002 & 210.32.42.20.03.003):
One of the themes of this commemorative collection is “Blue”, emphasizing the importance of the ocean to the watchmaking industry. The new Diver 300m features a blue ceramic bezel with large enamel numerals and a blue smoked dial adorned with the classic wave pattern. This gradient blue, known as "Summer Blue," perfectly captures the darkening colors of the ocean's surface. It has a 42mm diameter and is made of stainless steel.
The 75th Anniversary Edition is equipped with the METAS-certified Omega 8800 automatic movement, resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. It offers a power reserve of 55 hours and features a solid stainless steel caseback adorned with a bas-relief of Poseidon riding a hippocampus, capturing the spirit of the ocean while paying homage to the rich heritage of the Seamaster collection and symbolizing Omega's enduring commitment to excellence.
Omega Seamaster 300 75th Anniversary Edition (Ref. 234.30.41.21.03.002):
The retro counterpart of the Diver 300m is the Seamaster 300, a collection launched in 2021 that blends vintage styling with modern features. With a diameter of 41mm, it maintains a nice size that leans into vintage inspiration, as vintage watches tend to be smaller. What truly sets this watch apart is its gorgeous dial dominated by the "Summer Blue" gradient.
Inside, it houses the Omega 8912 Co-Axial movement with a power reserve of 60 hours. The main difference between this movement and the 8800 is the absence of a date window, making it a time-only watch. With fewer complications, it offers a higher power reserve.
Conclusion:
The Omega 75th Anniversary Edition is not a year of massive change, and sometimes, staying the course is the best move. The gradient dial design contrasts beautifully with the blue ceramic bezel, offering a modern and special appeal. We look forward to experiencing these 75th anniversary commemorative watches firsthand.
