Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer, Titanium, Steel

Omega has recently unveiled a trio of Aqua Terra Worldtimers, designed specifically for travelers. These new timepieces come in three variations: a steel model with a bracelet, a steel model with a green rubber strap, and a titanium model with a rubber strap. Among the three, the titanium variant stands out with its unique dial crafted using laser ablation. The black and grey dial features the word "London" in red varnish and is complemented by a brushed black ceramic bezel and blackened hands. The hands are coated with blue SuperLuminova for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. The 43mm case is paired with a black rubber strap featuring a titanium decorative link and clasp.

The green models, available with both a bracelet and a strap, share some similarities with the titanium version. They feature a brushed green ceramic bezel that contrasts with the green dial. However, the dial on these models is adorned with curved vertical lines, reminiscent of a cylindrical globe, and finished with a sun-brushed PVD texture. The hands and markers on the green models are made of Omega's 18k Moonshine gold.

Both versions of the travel watches showcase a miniature model of the Earth, as seen from above the North Pole, at the center of the dial. The continents and colors are laser-ablated onto a grade 5 titanium surface, and the dial has a domed design to mimic the curvature of the Earth. Surrounding the globe is a 24-hour indicator split into night and day beneath hesalite glass.

Powering these timepieces is the METAS-certified Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938, visible through the exhibition caseback.

Omega's focus on mechanical innovation, design refinements, and material upgrades is evident in these new releases. The shift to a matte ceramic bezel and the use of titanium add sophistication to the Aqua Terra collection. Despite their 43mm size, the watches remain legible and functional, with the globe motif requiring ample space.
