“Only Watch 2023” - Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Act 1

Blancpain, a longtime supporter of the Monaco Association Against Muscular Dystrophy, presents a unique edition of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Act 1 for the Only Watch 2023 Auction. Celebrating the iconic Fifty Fathoms' 70th anniversary, the watch features a special blue-themed color motif.

The Fifty Fathoms holds a legendary heritage, created by Blancpain's former Co-CEO, Jean-Jacques Fiechter, drawing from his experience as a pioneer diver. Its innovative functions have since defined diving watches worldwide, earning the trust of leading navies like France, Germany, and the United States.

This special edition pays homage to the original 1953 Fifty Fathoms, as well as two landmark editions from 2003 and 2007. The watch boasts a blue unidirectional sapphire bezel with exceptional scratch resistance, a blue-gradient dial with luminous indexes, and the reliable Blancpain movement 1315 with a five-day power reserve and silicon hairspring for precision.

The caseback showcases the high-end finishing of the movement, with a 18-carat gold winding rotor inscribed with "Only Watch Blancpain." The 42.3 mm stainless steel case remains unchanged from the recently launched Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Act 1.

For environmental efforts, the watch comes with a blue NATO-style strap made from recycled nylon reclaimed from ocean clean-up initiatives. With its unique design and historical significance, this exclusive timepiece exemplifies Blancpain's commitment to innovation and charitable causes.
