“Only Watch 2023” - Czapek Genève Complicité - Courage Every Second

Czapek Genève presents a horological masterpiece, a blend of history and innovation in their latest creation, the "Complicité - Courage Every Second" wristwatch. This remarkable timepiece embodies Czapek's rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of watchmaking craftsmanship.

Drawing inspiration from their iconic Quai des Bergues and Place Vendôme models, the concept for this watch was conceived in 2018, with a distinctive twist. The dual escapements, reminiscent of a design from 1830, occupy positions at 4:30 and 7:30 on the dial, connected to a central differential at 12 o'clock. While this concept initially faced challenges in finding a manufacturing partner to execute the precise architecture, fate intervened through a serendipitous connection.

Xavier, the CEO of Czapek, crossed paths with Bernhard Lederer, driven by their children's friendship. Their collaboration birthed not only a watch but also a deep friendship. Together, they tackled the intricate mechanics, overcoming the challenge of coordinating the dual escapements with the differential, resulting in the creation of "Complicité."

This exceptional creation's uniqueness extends to its "Only Watch" edition, a singular piece designed before the finalization of the standard production models. Housed in steel, a departure from the typical precious metals, the dial is adorned with a captivating 'champlevé' enamel ring reflecting the colors of the Only Watch 2023 event.
