Tag Heuer x Porsche Carrera Chronosprint
Tag Heuer has unveiled the new Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche, a collaborative chronograph watch with a unique twist. Based on TAG Heuer's "glassbox" design, it features a 42mm by 14.9mm case, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and comes in 18k rose gold with a beige dial or steel with a silvered dial. Rhodium-plated hour and minute hands complement the case, with silver accents on the subdials and a date window at 6:00.
The watch is powered by the TH20-08 movement, which offers a distinctive feature - the chronograph hand accelerates like a car's speedometer, covering a third of the dial in 9.1 seconds before gradually slowing down as it reaches the top.
The Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche stands out in TAG Heuer's "glassbox" lineup, offering a novel narrative-driven complication. While the rose gold model with a beige dial may not suit everyone's taste, the steel version with a silver-toned dial and bold red accents seems more appealing, adds a unique twist to the collaboration between Tag Heuer and Porsche.
