Oris x Bracenet Special Edition Aquis Date
Oris, known for its commitment to sustainability, introduces the Oris x Bracenet special edition of the Aquis Date. In partnership with Bracenet, a social enterprise focused on upcycling abandoned fishing nets, Oris presents two versions of this environmentally conscious timepiece.
These Aquis Date watches are available in two sizes, 43.5mm and 36.5mm, both crafted from 316L stainless steel. They share features like unidirectional rotating bezels with grey ceramic inserts, partial crown guards, and screw-down crowns. The dials, however, are the highlight, made from upcycled "ghost" fishing nets in shades of green, blue, and white. Each dial is a unique kaleidoscope, created by melting and shaping the net material into 0.3mm blanks without any additives. Super-LumiNova accents the applied indices and hands, and a date window sits at 6 o'clock.

Powering these watches is the Oris 733 automatic movement, based on Sellita's SW200-1, offering 26 jewels, a 38-hour power reserve, and accuracy rated at +/-12 seconds per day. Both models share a water resistance of 300 meters.
